Baer Swords, LLC presenting SwordStrong KC is dedicated to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone. This applies to ALL guests, vendors, staff, spectators and employees. If anyone violates this code of conduct, the event organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including expulsion from the event without refund and a ban from all future SwordStrong KC events and Baer Swords, LLC events.

We do not tolerate harassment or abuse of any kind. Harassment includes, but is not limited to, offensive language related to gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disability, religion (or lack thereof) or physical appearance, as well as deliberate intimidation, stalking, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Value the safety of others as you would value your own. Violations of safety include severely injuring another person due to an intentional action or neglecting to follow safety protocols given to you by staff, instructors, or vendors. If it is discovered you have severe incidents with other groups (HEMA, other martial arts, events, etc.) and could be a threat to the safety of SwordStrong KC members or attendees, you will be banned from all Baer Swords, LLC hosted events including but not limited to SwordStrong KC.

SwordStrong KC and Baer Swords, LLC rents our facilities, so take care of the property and report any damage to a staff member immediately. Pick up after yourself in all areas including but not limited to: on the field, in the bathroom, and outside the facility.

SwordStrong KC and Baer Swords, LLC may alter these guidelines and interpret them as they see fit at any time. We are all here to have a good time and show respect towards one another in order to learn and grow as fighters and HEMA practitioners and expect everyone attending one of our events or our school in any representation to carry themselves with this same cadence.
