Donny McKay is the president of Vier Blossen Historical Fencing in Colleyville, Texas. For over 7 years, he has studied the sword and buckler techniques of the I.33 manuscript. He also has a black belt in Tang Soo Do and loves researching and discussing different techniques and weapon systems.
Donny will teach a I.33 primer workshop to introduce what I.33 believes are common sword and buckler techniques. The workshop will then explore how I.33 counters the common fencer and how you can utilize the I.33 mindset and techniques for success in modern HEMA.
