Fri. May 2nd: Spear Basics - Understanding basic offense/defense with measure with Court Dyke

This class is designed to go over basics of spear combat in a 1 v 1 HEMA format. It will cover basic grip(s), footwork, attacking, defending, and measure. 

We will cover, with application during the class, sources from Meyer (Marxbruder fencing), Marozzo (Italian fencing), Mair (just hanging around), and some eastern styles of combat. 

The great part of this class is that if you have used, with any level of proficiency, a one handed thrusting sword. Then you have the "point" of this class.
